Post TX-week 8 Saturday

Recovery continues to go well and I have weaned myself off the sleeping pills. Today M and I went 18 miles on they bike and next ride we can go 22. My breathing is back to full strength.

And it's back to Hillary once again. She really did it this time; she has made it impossible for Obama to put her on the ticket. Here's the deal, she misspoke in South Dakota and implied that the race could end with an assination. This is true, but her bad judgement invites the following scenario right out of a Tom Clancy novel. Obama and Hillary win the election as president and vice president. One of Hillary's feminist robots decides to assasinate Obama and Hillary becomes the president. The election is determined by a single vote from the barrel of a gun. Hillary has planted the seed.

Hillary supporters charge sexism. In my view, Hillary has brought this on herself as a result of her multiple personality disorder, chronic lies, obvious bigotry and racism, bending the rules to suit her cause and her and Bill's smear tactics. Who needs to worry about republicans and Swift Boats when we have the Clinton's. In my opinion, Bill Clinton has become nothing more than a transparent, lying, has been.

Obama will win the nomination and he will win the election. I say this because, in reality, the feminists must support Obama or they lose the right to choose. Even though their hearts are broken from watching the failure of their Joan of Arc, they are faced with an impossible situation-they must vote Obama. Hillary's racists and rednecks(aka, hard working white people) will split. The republicans will take Pennsylvania and Florida and the Dems will take Michigan, Ohio, Texas and California.
Hillary's electability argument is nothing less than blatant racism. Judging from her recent perfomances, her argument the she is the more qualified candidate doesn't hold water. She has finally shown the world her true self, a lying, arrogant, ego manical and overly ambitious human being. The Clinton's are over and they need to be gracious and move on, although I'm afraid that they don't know how to do what is right. This is their fundamental failing.

Don't you people understand! I REALLY WANT TO BE PRESIDENT!!!!

Post TX-week 7 Sunday

I've been riding my bike and today I made it the 15 miles I was doing prior to tx. Afterward I came home and passed out for 2 hours. I'll try it again tomorrow. M is in Chicago visiting her parents and I miss her already. The Pruis is too cool. So far it's been showing 51 miles to the gallon. Going to get gas is a real treat.

M is finished school and we have been having a lot of fun. We have decided that we are going to travel for one semester and go to Sac State the next. This way we can stretch out our time in school over a year or 2.

It's great to feel better, the tx changed my life forever. I have a second chance and I'm going to do whatever I want whenever I want and I'm not going to worry about a thing. I'm living life and loving it.

I have been painting lately and I'm starting to get my grove back. The picture below is the start of a painting of my loft in SF. What you see is the under painting done in acrylics. When the under painting is finished, I will over paint it with oil paint.

All is well and bye for now

Post TX-week 6 Sunday

We were able to sell Magda's 2004 BMW in one day at the swap meet at Sierra college. The next day I went out shopping for a new Prius. I went to the dealer in our area and they only had 5 of them. They had 4 white and a black. They said they could get one in my choice of 3 colors in about a month so I went on the list. I ended getting one in 4 days and it came with a 2K factory discount. The real surprise is how much M and I like it. It gets 45 miles to a gallon and it is surprisingly roomy and comfortable. It has 2 gears, forward and reverse and an on board computer that is incredible. All in all I put it right up there with the Iphone in innovation.

M and I and Cindy came to SF Saturday and we all had a lot of fun. Last night we walked up to North Beach for a great dinner at De Luchi and this morning we went to the New Morning Cafe in Belvedere for breakfast with the dogs. Afterwards we went to the Golden gate National Seashore for a hike. Our friend Cindy has vertigo and she was walking on the cliffs like she was drunk, we all had a great laugh.

I'm in SF till Wednesday, with lunch with the boys on Monday. My friend Jonathan has started his Hepsie treatment on Thursday and he is doing really well so far. We will go to lunch at Zuni on Wednesday.

All is well and bye for now

Post TX-week 5 Wednesday

Today is the last day of week 5. My recovery continues to go well, I'm still a little fatigued and physically, I can't do a lot of exercise before I have to stop. Otherwise, I feel so much better.

My cholestorol has shot up 65 points to 231 since I have stopped the drugs. This is after being between 140 and 170 for the last 5 years and being a vegetarian for as long as well. I went to my new GP and was not impressed. He just shinned it on and it was as though he couldn't get me out of the office soon enough. He showed no interest in discussing the situation and knew less about Hepsie than I do. I think I need a female doctor as they seem to listen better and they aren't afraid to spend some time with you.

I had my 1 month post tx bloods a week ago and I am not going to call to get the results, what I don't know won't hurt me.

And now for the good news....Tada! we are getting another Cavilier Spaniel puppy. She was born Monday and we are going to name her Lucy. We will drive up to Oregon July 25th to pick her up.

All is well and bye for now

Post TX-week 5 Thursday

Today is the first day of week five. I went to Kaiser this morning for my 4 week post tx check-up. I go back again on July 3rd for my 90 day checkup.

Post tx has seen me a little more tired than I was prior to tx but they say that will go away around 90 days. All of the interferon is out of my system and they say that the Ribivirin should clear out by 180 days. I feel very good and I have a lot of fun things to look forward to.

Coming out of tx, I decided that I needed a Harley and I needed to take shooting lessons. Those feelings left me with the interferon. It's amazing how that crap takes you over.

I see that today Hillary has declared that the white blue collar people won't vote for Obama-she is totally out of control, I'm not sure that I'd sleep well with her finger on the nuclear launch button. At this point, she is really pathetic. What does it take for her to figure out that the race has been run and she has lost it. I guess that's it, she's lost it. In order to go on, she is now presenting herself as the "Great White Hope". Why doesn't she just come out and say it, "I accept the support of the Ku Kluz Klan and any other ignorant racist that wants to come on board.

Here's the problem, she was a shoo in for the nomination and the White House was hers, she had it all wrapped up and the job was hers. Along comes this upstart shoe shine boy from Illinois and he poses a serious challenge. Bill refers to him as "the biggest fairy tale he's ever seen". A month later he says that the only reason he won South Carolina is because he is black-he then has the nerve to accuse Obama of playing the race card. Obama out votes her, takes more states, gets more delagates, gets alot more money from little people, and what do the Cintons do? They say he can't win because he's black-what a terrible way to end a campaign. I feel sorry for her.

Post TX-week 4 Saturday

It seems that my recovery from treatmant is proceeding the same way my treatment did. No sides in the beginning and then they start. What I have is tx light and it's no biggie. I can go all day without a nap and I have a lot of energy. Physically, I'm still off the pace but that's to be expected. What I feel is like having a very mild flu that comes and goes. After treatment, this is a walk in the park.

My trip to SF was a blast and I went to see my daughter's new house and visit with my grand daughter who is so cute. Lunch with Jonathan and Grethen at Zuni. Jonathan is fighting with Blue Cross to treat his stage 3 hep C liver fibrosis. They love taking the premiums but they hate writing the checks

Today, my daughter and my grand sons came to visit and we have been having a great time swimming in the river and then in the pool. Magda Jonesed and had a cup of coffee today and she didn't get cookoo.

I can't wait for my daughter Jenna to have her baby as we're closer and we should spend more time with he/she.

My car is for sale at a car show near here and I haven't had any phone calls. Whole Foods is empty and the restaurants are bare. This recession is going to be long and hard.

All is well and bye for now
